2018 APPLICATIONS INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FROM SIERRA LEONE, LIBERIA, NIGERIA, RWANDA, THE GAMBIA, KENYA AND UGANDA
LEGAL ETHICS TRAINING PROGRAM (17 – 20 JULY) AND INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE TRAINING PROGRAM (23-24 JULY)
GIMPA Law School in cooperation with the African Centre on Law & Ethics (ACLE) and the African Center on International Criminal Justice (ACICJ) and the Leitner Center for International Law & Justice at Fordham Law School is seeking applications from suitably law students from the countries listed below for two training programs respectively on legal ethics (4 days) and international criminal justice (2 days) to be held from 17 July to 24 July, 2018 in Accra, Ghana.
The training programs will be facilitated by leading academics and lawyers from the GIMPA Law School, Fordham Law School, Georgetown Law School, White & Case LLP and the International Criminal Court in The Hague.Eligibility: Applications are invited from qualified law students who must be either recent graduates (last two academic years) or currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate law program in a university from the following countries: Sierra Leone, Liberia, Rwanda, Nigeria, The Gambia, Kenya, and Uganda. Scholarship: the organizers of the two training programs will provide a round-trip economy ticket and modest accommodation for the selected applicants. In order to use the limited resources available, selected applicants will be required to attend both courses.

The DEADLINE for application is 7th July 2018 and 1st July 2018 for international students. Space is limited and only the first 200 applications will be reviewed. The essays will be graded and the top 60 will be selected. The students will be notified of acceptance into the Programme by email no later than July 15, 2018.
